Hi! My name is Nour Bizri and I am a Licensed Counseling Professional Associate ( LPCA) in South Carolina. I received her BA in Psychology from the College of Charleston and went on to complete her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University. I am currently completing her basic training certification in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing ( EMDR).
I has experience working with anxiety, life adjustments, grief and loss, depression, and trauma. I work with individuals who are having difficulties with change and processing emotions, thoughts, and experiences. This would include, but is not limited to, individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief & loss, PTSD, somatic disorders, anger management, and mood disorders, and more. I believe that counseling encourages growth, empowerment, and advocates for individuals who are looking for support in any situation.
When dealing with unexpected change and emotions, sometimes, it can be difficult to cope and continue living life positively. My counseling identity highlights an integrative approach that looks at what you, the client, needs and wants to work on. I would like to help you increase your wellness, quality of life, and help you regain a sense of control to be able to live a fuller and happier life.
